To pass the anti-workplace bullying Healthy Workplace Bill, we need to urge House leaders to make the bill a priority. This week, we ask you to:

  1. Contact Speaker DeLeo to ask him to make the Healthy Workplace Bill, H 1771, a priority. Those who live in Winthrop and are Speaker DeLeo’s constituents will have the most impact, so spread the word to anyone who lives in Winthrop. Even if you don’t live in Winthrop, email Robert.DeLeo@mahouse.gov or call 617-722-2500 and ask him to make the bill a priority.
  2. Contact your State Rep and ask him or her to work to make the bill a priority. Ask your State Rep to talk with House leadership about addressing the bill as soon as possible. Find out who your State Rep is and click on your legislator listed under the House to get his or her contact information.

Your help will greatly impact whether or not the bill passes this session, so don’t wait and get as many people as possible to also put urgency behind making workplace bullying illegal in Massachusetts. We only have until July to pass the bill before we start again at step 1 next January. The time is now to pass this bill.
